2. RavenStar - Discover a Garden Cafe, Woodland Rune & Sculpture Journey Near Lion’s Head

Some self promotion never hurts eh?  Tucked quietly near Lion’s Head, RavenStar offers an experience like no other on the Bruce Peninsula.  We bill ourselves as a Sculpture Journey and Garden Cafe attraction. This year we open starting May 8, 2026.

Our signature forest trail journey features a seasonal rune message hidden along the path — a nine-letter word you slowly uncover as you walk. Along the way, you’ll find handcrafted faerie doors with a tree magic tale inside each, natural sculptures, and spaces designed for reflection such as Nematona’s Labyrinth and Morrigan’s Dome.  There’s places to make your own sculptures, create forest music, meditate, draw oracle cards, drum, and so much more!

We think coming early in the season is one of the most beautiful times to visit. The air is fresh, the trail is peaceful, and the energy of renewal is tangible. We have thousands of spring bulbs to enjoy and our herb, vegetable and witches gardens are coming alive and verdant.  Our friend Caeli houses her honey bees here so you’ll see the spring blossoms abuzz with life. Want a deeper experience?  Caeli hosts bee tours and gives you a behind the scenes look at the secret life of bees. Calei Link

Many guests tell us spring is their favourite month — before the heat and height of summer.

On the way to Tobermory and feeling hungry or need a beverage? Our Garden Cafe is open 10-4 from Fridays through Mondays and features exceptional vegetarian and vegan fare, seasonal soups, delectable savouries and a range of incredible European style desserts. We pride ourselves on using a lot of organic, local and home grown ingredients. Bide a while in our scenic outdoor seating area surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of nature.  Need something to go? We offer herbal teas picked fresh out of our gardens, brewed to order organic fair trade coffee, specialty drinks and a range of items going back to our Harvest Moon bakery days.  If you’re searching for:
